POSITION SUMMARY

The Student Success Manager at Pacific Oaks Center for Community and Social Impact (CCSI) provides leadership to the management of our Student Success programs. CCSI’s Student Success programs might operate with students and families in school districts, students in colleges and other community members. The Student Success Manager will work alongside community partners to ensure the fidelity of programs and their operations. They will also work to measure, evaluate and promote the outcomes of the varied Student Success Programs to increase sustainability. This is a grant-funded position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Amplify CCSI’s Student Success programs efforts and impact through consistent communication and relationship building with external community partners.
  • Facilitate and grow the impact of Student Success programming.
  • Identify and evaluate Student Success program service gaps.
  • Increase efficiencies in the operations of Student Success programming.
  • Utilize strength-based paradigms to enhance program efficacy.
  • Design innovations within the scope of student success.
  • Implement practices and policies that address the disproportionality associated with student success.
  • Support the success of new and existing programming housed in CCSI.
  • Partner with school district and/or college and community leadership to amplify the benefits of program participation.
  • Manage staff, student workers and/or interns as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of related work experience
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to support the mission of Pacific Oaks College
  • Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team.
  • Access to reliable transportation

The position is governed by the policies of Pacific Oaks, along with established procedures for the department. Independent judgment is required in the supervision of personnel as well as in the carrying out of the department's strategic goals and budget management.
