Hiring of student employees (stage hands and usher) Complete termination of student employees upon their departure Work with student employment Training of new hires Scheduling work schedules Organizing and preparing work assignments Supervising students while they are working Determining over hour pre authorization
Establish morning opening with schedule and routines and manpower Establish evening closing with schedule and routines and manpower Establish daily schedule coverage to support/monitor events booked Establish routines for general cleaning of the stage, backstage, and systems throughout the auditorium. Determine what safety measures will need to be established with each and every event.

Coordinate maintenance and repair issues that arise in the following areas
Exterior door operations and security Interior door operations and security Exterior and interior lighting Custodial routines and consistency Plumbing Electrical HVAC Dehumidifiers Fire sprinkler system Interior and exterior painting (and possible repair) Other work requests
AV and Media Support
Coordinate maintenance and repair issues that arise with the following equipment
- AV lecturn
- Rear projector
- Events requiring projection
Security: requesting assistance for events or to investigate an incident. Reporting a faulty door. Learn how to manage a sprinkler system leak; a power outage, disengaging a HELP station alarm.
Safety: presently, coordinating covid checks. Compliance with fire extinquishers.
Project Management: coordinating and scheduling capital asset work (renovation, installation, etc).
Scheduling (Events Department/Educational Outreach): all events needs to be presented and cleared through this office. Coordination with academic classes, each semester, can be done with this office. Anything in the lobby (art shows), auditorium (academic and performance and church), rehearsal hall (upstairs), make up (academic and performance).
