- Phase 1: 30-minute interview with the search committeePhase 2: 30-minute interview with the search committee (different questions will be asked), 30-minute written exercise; 30-minute presentation with the Office of Finance team and Office of College Advancement team Phase 3: 30-minute interview with the vice president of finance and vice president of college advancement (this phase will occur if you do not engage with the vice president of finance and vice president of college advancement in phase 1 or 2; if you do engage with the vice president of finance and vice president of college advancement in phase 1 or 2, phase 3 will not be necessary)
This position will be open until filled. This position is eligible to work remote (this is subject to change).
Job Summary: Manage the HACC Foundation scholarship program, award credit and noncredit scholarships and lead the Scholarship Task Force.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience.*Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Such as those listed above.
Hiring Range: $36,606 - $45,758
Job Specific Task List:
- Determines the amount of HACC Foundation scholarship awards based on analysis of account balances and fund sustainability. - (Standard)
- Develops and maintains AcademicWorks, the HACC Foundation's online scholarship management system. - (Standard)
- Establishes reviewer committees to review scholarship applicants fairly and anonymously. - (Standard)
- Administers emergency assistance funds, Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) funds, travel awards, noncredit scholarship awards, graduation awards and other awards and prizes that fall outside of AcademicWorks. - (Standard)
- Leads the Scholarship Task Force. - (Standard)
- Serves as a liaison between the HACC Foundation and financial aid-related units at the College. - (Standard)
- Participates in a variety of planning meetings, budgeting and goal-setting related to scholarships. - (Standard)
- Develops ideas and creative ways and/or opportunities to promote HACC Foundation scholarships and awards internally and externally. - (Standard)
- Operates a computer. - (Essential)
