Job Summary/Essential Job Functions:  The Administrative Program Support Coordinator 2 provides administrative support for all educational aspects to the Department of Anesthesiology, to include the residency program, fellowship and medical student rotations.

           

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Schedules and monitors completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual evaluations for residency program.
  2. Assists with scheduling of bi-annual reviews for residents/ Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) members.
  3. Participates in bi-annual Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) meetings.
  4. Ensures Milestones data is accurately and timely recorded in MedHub, ACGME and ABA databases.
  5. In conjunction with Medical Admin Coordinator, leads annual recruitment process.
  6. Schedules AKT 0, 6 and 24 exams at appropriate intervals.
  7. Registers all residents for annual In-Training Exam.
  8. Coordinates appropriate venue for In-Training Exam.
  9. Schedules residents for In-Training Exam.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree; two (2) years’ experience with a higher education institution applying accreditation standards or government regulations preferred OR a combination of work experience and college coursework to equal six (6) years. Thorough knowledge of web based applications, database management, and software applications required. Excellent oral and written communication skill; ability to multitask; and ability to interact with individuals of diverse cultures, religions, and languages. Some travel and occasional nights and weekends are required. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED).
