THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TN. Job Summary/Essential Job Functions: The Administrative Program Support Coordinator 2 provides administrative support for all educational aspects to the Department of Anesthesiology, to include the residency program, fellowship and medical student rotations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules and monitors completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual evaluations for residency program.
- Assists with scheduling of bi-annual reviews for residents/ Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) members.
- Participates in bi-annual Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) meetings.
- Ensures Milestones data is accurately and timely recorded in MedHub, ACGME and ABA databases.
- In conjunction with Medical Admin Coordinator, leads annual recruitment process.
- Schedules AKT 0, 6 and 24 exams at appropriate intervals.
- Registers all residents for annual In-Training Exam.
- Coordinates appropriate venue for In-Training Exam.
- Schedules residents for In-Training Exam.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree; two (2) years’ experience with a higher education institution applying accreditation standards or government regulations preferred OR a combination of work experience and college coursework to equal six (6) years. Thorough knowledge of web based applications, database management, and software applications required. Excellent oral and written communication skill; ability to multitask; and ability to interact with individuals of diverse cultures, religions, and languages. Some travel and occasional nights and weekends are required. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED).
