Candidates who have completed their doctoral coursework and those with a master's degree in mathematics or a related field will be considered for the position. A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field is preferred.

The successful candidate will have a clearly articulated teaching philosophy; experience with first-generation, non-traditional, and/or traditionally underserved student populations; and a record of teaching excellence. Spartanburg Methodist College is committed to diversity, inclusivity, and equity through teaching, research, and community engagement. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.

All applicants must submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and unofficial copies of graduate transcripts.
