Duties/Responsibilities:

Front of House Organization & Cleaning:

  • Cleaning the front areas of the kitchen and food storage.
  • Clean large equipment such as refrigerators, counters, serving lines, and tabletops.
  • Keep entire area clean and ready for certified inspection at any time.
  • Complete opening/closing sheets.

Position Summary:

The Server will assist the Culinary Service Manager in executing front of house service for Georgia Football. The employee will assist with the day-to-day operation of FOH. This person will need to follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures as well as multitask. They will also be responsible for stocking front of house, which includes but is not limited to various fueling stations, food service lines, and tabletops.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

Minimum of 1 year experience in food service.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Knowledge of health and food safety codes for food preparation, storage, and serving. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with culinary team. Ability to follow instructions with daily tasks given including but not limited to stocking and clean up. Previous experience in a culinary/restaurant position and ServSafe Certification.

Physical Demands:

Lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs. Work while handling outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time. Move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc. Work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
