You will help us create a safe and engaging environment for children in a fun and nurturing atmosphere. This job is great for candidates that thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing quality care to children.

Working for Trail Point Kids Zone you’ll receive the following: free individual or reduced rate family membership at Trail Point, access to state-of-the-art workout facility, flexible scheduling, and fitness casual dress code.

Essential Functions:

Engage in meaningful conversation and play with children. Use positive guidance strategies to support children’s understanding and follow through of classroom rules and expectations. Follow program policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for children. Work collaboratively alongside a dedicated team, practicing strong communication and being inclusive of others.Make connections with families by engaging in friendly and genuine conversations at drop-off and pick-up. Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age. Ability to complete Universal Precautions Training Certification within 10 days of hire. Ability to complete CPR/First Aid Certification within 60 days of hire. Ability to complete Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training Certification within 30 days of hire.

Desired Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education coursework/degree.Experience in an early childhood group setting.
