Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:- Ability to install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows 10, MacOS, and Windows Server).
- Ability to problem solve and identify issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to anticipate user’s technology needs.
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and provide excellent customer service.
- Able to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Possess high organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other related field and/or certifications.
- Three to five years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of internet protocols (TCP/IP).
- Knowledge using Zoom, Teams, or similar video conferencing tools.
- Knowledge of Texas State University policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of ITAC resources and procedures.
- Knowledge of Department Share Drive process and departmental email online toolkit access.
- Knowledge of Texas State purchasing procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining all technology resources for the Office of Human Resources.
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, associated peripherals and software.
- Maintain Ricoh multifunction printer (MFPs) in HR and control user access.
- Manage HR Department Share Drive and departmental email online toolkit access.
- Research, diagnose, analyze, and solve computer and audiovisual equipment problems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on computers and other technology devices.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and licensing information.
- Maintain Computer Replacement Program for Human Resources.
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software purchases.
- Train users on equipment and software.
- Technical support for Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) Phones in Human Resources.
- Assist with HR SAP support pack testing and other technology related charters or projects.
- Assist with HR SAP security requests and audits.
