Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit:The Moss Street Partnership School is a collaboration between UNC Greensboro, Rockingham County Schools, and the Moss Street community. This partnership is part of the UNC Lab School Initiative, which draws on resources from the UNCG campus, staff, and student teachers. The location, setting, and environment for the MEd in Teacher Education program fit well within the scope of the partnership.
Position Summary:Provide supervision and instructional support for groups of elementary students attending the summer program at Moss Street Partnership School.
Minimum Qualifications:Must have earned an associate’s degree or higher or 48 semester hours of college coursework with a 2.0 GPA
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of three or more years of college with a major in education, including fieldwork completed in elementary school settings. Experience in high-need schools. Experience caring for/supervising elementary-aged children in camp or childcare settings.
