Job Summary:

Adjunct Instructor for Anatomy & Physiology reports to the Chair for General Education and Developmental Studies. Teach Anatomy & Physiology Lecture/Lab during the day, evening, fall, spring or summer semesters, and face to face /or online and may include Dual Enrollment and Early College High School. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree required with 18 graduate hours in the teaching area. Ability to deal with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner. Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, speak, listen, and see. The employee is occasionally required to sit, lift, push, pull and carry objects.
Working conditions: Normal classroom setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience in a 2-year college or university is preferred.

Salary:

$2,200 per 3 hr semester course; add'l pay for teaching a lab $838 during summer semester

Work Hours:

Less than half time
