Pay Grade/Pay Range: 59 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 47590.44 Midpoint - $ 68993.64

Department/Organization: 502302 - Furnishings & Design

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Manager assists in the daily administration of a specific program or department to ensure all responsibilities are executed in a timely manner.

Additional Department Summary: The Business Process, Manager supervises the support staff and Upholstery staff in addition to fulfilling the accountant duties within Furnishings and Design. This position is responsible for the financial record keeping of all charges incurred in the designing and furnishings of the UA campus. The Business Process, Manager will assist in the coordination in the departmental budget and as such will be the financial leader within the area. In addition this position will manage work flow processes, assist in conflict resolution, following up with clients, managing client expectations and successfully completing the support function and Upholstery function furthering the mission of the department.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience; OR Master's degree and one (1) year of experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, have excellent planning and coordination skills, be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and be proficient in using Microsoft software, especially spreadsheet and database applications. Demonstrated strong skills in the following areas: analytical, strong interpersonal/customer service, project management, experience with financial/accounts payable system software, initiate and support continuous improvement and training and presentation skills. Must have impeccable track record of ethical conduct and an ability to effectively work in a team environment and with a diverse population. Must have the ability to work effectively under stress and high levels of activity. Understanding of accounting principles, auditing and tax compliance. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to evaluate complex situations and determine best course of action.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant work experience OR Masters degree and two (2) years of relevant work experience.
