Job Description

The College of Arts & Sciences is seeking applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track adjunct faculty positions for the Department of Social Sciences. Specialization is open, but experience with online and hybrid instructional formats is preferred. Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments may include day, night, or weekend classes. Flexible to suit course schedule.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Political Science, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Political Science or related field from a regionally accredited institution.

  • College or University teaching experience.

  • Experience teaching online and hybrid formats.

  • Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.

  • Experience in culturally diverse settings.

The position is open until filled.

Review of applicants will begin immediately. Finalists will be asked to provide two original letters of recommendation, as well as official transcripts from each degree-granting institution. We cannot accept transcripts issued directly to the candidate. If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator.
