Remote CS Workshop Instructor -Part Time

R&D is hiring instructors for a remote teaching opportunity!

DigiPen is partnering with the Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour primary and secondary school in Lebanon to teach a two-level remote computer science workshop to students of grades 6 through 12. The roughly 500 students of this program will use JavaScript and the p5.js library to learn principles of video game programming.

The course will be taught in 90-minute periods, with eight sessions per day, five days per week, over the course of twelve weeks. Lebanon’s time zone is ten hours ahead of Redmond’s, which means that teaching shifts for this course may occur late at night or early in the morning, depending on the local time zone of each instructor.

We are looking for instructors to represent DigiPen, oversee student engagement in learning, and provide a positive learning experience. We need candidates who are enthusiastic, flexible, eager to learn, and able to always remain professional. Most importantly, you must enjoy working with students between the ages of 11 and 18.
