Description
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Admissions & Financial Aid, the Director of Law School Admissions will be responsible for assisting with the daily management of the law school admissions process, including supervision of support staff and part-time staff.  This position will review admissions files and prepare decision recommendations for Faculty Admissions Committee, meet with prospective law school applicants, advise and recruit admitted students. The Director will plan and implement the recruitment travel schedule and represent Law School at numerous recruitment events, both in person and online and coordinate involvement of law students in recruitment activities. This position will also plan and coordinate on-campus recruitment events, offer oral presentations to prospective and admitted students and prepare and analyze admissions statistical data. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
J.D. degree and a minimum of three years related high level administrative experience. Demonstrated experience making presentations to both large and small groups. Supervisory or leadership experience. Experience researching and interpreting large amounts of statistical data. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Required Skills & Abilities:
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the University and community.
* Ability to travel to off-campus locations that may not be accessible via public transportation.
* Excellent computer skills including expertise managing sophisticated databases, creating spreadsheets and complex reports and using electronic and web-based communications.
* Demonstrated customer service skills.
* Ability to manage recruiting events of various sizes.
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively interact with diverse groups of individuals.
* Ability to work evenings and /or weekends, if necessary.

Preferred:
* Direct admissions experience

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
