Job Description:We seek a full-time research associate to assist with implementing one or more multi-component, grant-funded, health promotion intervention research studies (principal investigator, Carolyn M. Tucker, Ph.D.). The incumbent will perform a variety of research activities, such as assisting with (a) planning and coordinating project operations and logistics, (b) training project personnel to carry out their roles, (c) preparing implementation materials, (d) ensuring that project timelines and implementation protocols are conducted in a timely manner, (e) chairing research team meetings and taking and distributing meeting notes, and (f) writing project reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to collaborate with a diverse research team and work independently; high motivation to deliver quality work products; and a commitment to working with diverse community populations in a culturally sensitive manner.

Expected Salary:The salary is $15 – $17 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience in an appropriate area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, excellent written (English) and oral communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
