Job Details
The Department of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation at Skidmore College invites applications for a part time Stable Hand available in the College's Riding Program. Schedule is 30 hours per week, including weekends. (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays AND 7:00 AM - noon on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Days off are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.) Duties include cleaning stalls, feeding and watering horses, general barn maintenance, and related assignments. Occasional overtime hours due to absences and special weekend activities.
Pay Range:
$16.02 per hour per the union contract which is 90% of the prevailing wage for someone new or the rate will be the full $17.80 if current regular union member eligible for 100% rate.
