The Department of OB/GYN and Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Colorado is recruiting for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above. The Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Colorado is the largest female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery practice in Colorado. Each faculty member is fellowship-trained and double board certified, including certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). As part of the larger University of Colorado School of Medicine, we have access to an intensive care unit, cutting-edge equipment, and multiple teams of subspecialists in women’s health. We have an established dedicated multidisciplinary program, which allows us to address even the most complex medical and surgical cases. We also provide a wide array of reconstructive surgical options, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

Our practice is largely centered on the Anschutz Medical Campus, at the University of Colorado Hospital but we offer services in the growing metropolitan area. We are the only tertiary care center within 500 miles and see patients with complex conditions from Colorado and surrounding states.  This position would be focused on providing services to the greater Denver area and the Colorado region along with responsibilities on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Responsibilities include surgical/medical management of patients with urogynecologic conditions in the inpatient and outpatient setting, teaching of medical students/residents/fellows/Advanced Practice Providers, and administrative duties as assigned. We have an expanding program with clinical and academic leadership opportunities that are available based on the candidate’s level of previous experience as appropriate.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at:

$233,120 - $248,000 for Assistant Professor

$282,856 – $300,911 for Associate Professor

$302,095 - $321,378 for Professor

 

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Candidates must be eligible or Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and at least Board eligible for Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. They must have completed fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.  Candidates must also have or be eligible for medical licensure by the State of Colorado.

5 or more years of experience in Urogynecology

Successful applicants should be able to develop strong relationships with community physicians in the greater Denver Metro area and the greater Colorado region.
