Description:
The laboratory of Dr. Yan Dong at Tulane University School of Medicine, YDongTulane, is seeking two postdoctoral fellows who are highly motivated and devoted to research. Research in the laboratory focuses on molecular mechanisms of prostate cancer progression and therapeutic resistance. In particular, we have been investigating the mechanisms by which androgen receptor splice variants mediate resistance of prostate cancer to androgen deprivation therapy. We are also characterizing other proteins and non-coding RNAs that are critically involved in prostate cancer progression.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a PhD or MD/PhD degree and should be skilled in molecular biology and cell biology. Prior experience of working with mouse models is preferred.
