Full-time tenure track position in the Department of Nursing, beginning August 2022. The department of nursing offers a professional program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
A minimum of a master’s degree in nursing is required, a doctorate with a nursing focus is preferred. Clinical practice experience in community health with the ability to teach both theory and clinical is required. Additional experience and ability to teach in a second clinical area such as pediatrics, adult health, obstetrics and/or mental health required. Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois is required. Successful experience in teaching at the baccalaureate level is desirable.

Responsibility for teaching both the theory and clinical components of Community Health nursing course. Additional responsibility to teach in a second area of clinical expertise. Faculty members have additional responsibility for student advisement, college and department service, and scholarly and professional achievement.
