Position Summary:

This is a front-line marketing, operations, recruitment, admissions, and events management position supporting the enrollment objectives of Terry’s new MSBA Program, while also expanding the capacity of the FTMBA/MSBA Student Engagement office. The employee will need to have an in-depth understanding of the MSBA program, and similar programs offered by other institutions. The employee in this position will work within the guidelines of the UGA Graduate School, review and process applications, track progress of applicants, and maintain a dialogue with prospective students during the application process and make admissions recommendations to the Assistant Director of Student Engagement, FTMBA/MSBA. This employee will assist with all duties related to the academic concentration and degree requirement advising for students enrolled in the FTMBA and Pathway MBA Programs, supporting and reporting to the Assistant Director of Student Engagement, FTMBA/MSBA. This employee will also play a key role in event planning and execution for FTMBA/MSBA constituents and provide support for social media engagement for these programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Recruitment, Admissions and Onboarding:
Provide a superior level of customer service to prospective applicants and incoming students; interact daily with internal and external customers (prospective applicants, current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and other departments/divisions of the University of Georgia); advise prospective applicants who contact the office via phone, email, and in person; conduct information sessions and tours as needed. Compile and review application documents for MSBA prospects and make admission recommendations to the Assistant Director of Student Engagement, FTMBA/MSBA.

This employee will serve as the principal point of administrative contact for the Full-time MBA and MSBA Programs. The employee will need to provide specialist support services in public and community relations, faculty affairs, general business administration and student affairs including but not limited to clearing students for registration, assigning classroom space and assisting in the production of academic schedules, handle student inquiries regarding registration and degree requirements, case competitions, and the Full-Time MBA international residency program.

Events Management:
Assist with the planning and execution of MSBA admissions related events, including, but not limited to MSBA Orientation, MSBA information sessions, MSBA Pre-term programming and activities, and scheduling of interviews/campus visits for candidates and guests. Assist in the planning of MBA club events, MBA/MSBA programming events, the MBA golf tournament, and quarterly alumni engagement events.

Marketing:
Develop and update content that contributes to the social media and web presence of the MSBA and Pathway MBA Programs; respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner; develop and execute email campaigns. Develop and execute email campaign directed at prospective employers of MSBA students designed to develop relationships for future hiring. Work with the FTMBA/MSBA Student Engagement team and other units to facilitate and coordinate social media campaigns.
