Job Summary

The College of Coastal Georgia Department of Mathematics and Data Science seeks qualified applicants for the part time applicant pool in the area of Mathematics. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the School of Arts & Sciences during the 2022-2023 academic year. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities -
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics courses contingent to the needs of the College. Essential duties include: maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, completing required trainings, teaching at the Brunswick campus or Camden Center either face-to-face, hybrid, or online, and submission of final grades and attendance reports. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is required.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
-MS or PHD in Mathematics or related fields with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Mathematics

Required Experience
-Successful teaching experience
-Evidence of professional development

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
-Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level
-Successful online teaching experience

Proposed Salary

$700 per credit hour for Masters prepared and $900 per credit for Doctorate prepared
