Duties/Responsibilities:

Digital Channel Management: Administer the development, implementation and assessment of the Office’s Social Media strategy; Direct Management of the Office’s Instagram and LinkedIn Accounts; Align channel strategy and assist with the development and implementation of the Office’s overall Communication’s Strategy; Support the design of multi-channel media campaigns supporting the implementation of award programs and the design of promotional literature; Manage and execute monthly reporting of channel performance aligned to OEL historic benchmarks and goals.

Position Summary:

The Office of Experiential Learning articulates and implements the vision for
experiential learning at UGA that informs student, faculty, staff, and
community engagement in high impact, degree integrated, real-world,
learning experiences that enable students to thrive. Media Intern supports the marketing and communications functions of the Office with a focus on digital media channels.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

Enrolled in a UGA Undergraduate degree program.

Preference for candidates that have experience or academic backgrounds in digital marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, media and/or graphic design.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Excellent Written, Oral, and Communication skills; Organizational skills; Project Management Skills; General Graphic Design Capabilities; and a strong working knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn.

Technical skills in MS Excel, Adobe, Canva, Adobe Design and/or Tableau; Experience with executing digital campaign strategies.

Physical Demands:

Work at a computer for long periods of time.
