Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year educational program or similar experience

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and four years professional or administrative experience to include minimum of two years educational program experience or similar experience
OR
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and seven years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions to include a minimum of four years of educational program experience or similar experienceKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office, and other computer software/databases
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Ability to learn ACGME software, multi-task and work independently
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities The job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintenance of One45 evaluations for residents
  • Excel data entry for general surgery residency dashboard
  • Supply order and catering orders for residency program
  • Coordination for Moretz Surgical Society Education Conference
  • Coordination of Grand Rounds and Didactics for residents
  • QGenda entry for resident call schedule
  • Assist with annual resident interviews i.e. packet development, rank meeting schedules, resident meet and greet, etc.
  • Assist with annual resident graduation ceremony i.e. catering, invitation development, gifts, etc
  • Coordination of rural health surgery initiative for general surgery residents
  • Perform all other related tasks/duties as assigned
Job Summary This position will provide coordination and support for our general surgery residency program. The program has 33 residents with complex rotation schedules. This position will primarily provide support to resident interviews, resident graduation, Moretz Surgical Society education conference, grand rounds, QGenda call schedule, didactics, and One45 evaluations. Shift/Salary Shift: Days / M-F *Work outside of the normal business hours may be required.* Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
