Job Details:Grounds StaffCoastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Grounds Staff (Building/Grounds Specialist II) in the Grounds Department.Duties include, but are not limited to: turf maintenance, plant and prune shrubbery, flowers and trees; clear area of debris and trash; operate equipment; assist with spreading fertilizer and grass seed; assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs; promote and use best safety practices; and other duties as assigned.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least six (6) months grounds experience is required. Building/Grounds Specialist II (KA10/140218/FTE-S00550P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 02. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Available for emergency work when called upon. Weekend work may be required.
High school diploma or equivalent. At least six months experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Working knowledge of power equipment used to perform grounds maintenance. Receive written job orders and verbal instructions related to job functions. Available for emergency work when called upon. Weekend work may be required.
