Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa has an opening for a Digital Media Specialist. This position supports the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications in developing strategy and creating content for digital marketing campaigns. This individual will handle the placement of paid digital marketing campaigns along with our organic social media efforts, and will write content for search engine optimization. They will also assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of all email, digital, and website content.

A Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, or related discipline preferred, and 2+ years of experience in digital marketing is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of web design, and content management systems are a must. Also, advanced experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics is preferred.

This is a hybrid position based on our Storm Lake campus with a combination of in-office and remote days each week. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate.
