The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a 1.0 full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or above in the University Women’s Care Practice. Responsibilities include providing clinical care in both obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient service and surgery for 0.6 FTE with 0.1 academic time. This position will share service coverage with other members of the Practice including night and weekend call at the Anschutz Medical Campus. This position also includes an administrative leadership role for a Director of Clinical Operations for 0.3 FTE. The Director of Outpatient Clinical Operations (DOCO) will oversee the quality of patient care and processes for General Ob/Gyn at the Ambulatory Outpatient Pavilion (AOP), Cherry Creek Medical Center, Lowry, and the newly developing Central Park practices. Position includes clinical duties, administration, education, research or quality improvement scholarly activities, ability to work effectively with and promote diverse populations, and teaching medical students and residents.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at:

Assistant Professor: $225,000 to $250,000.

Associate Professor: $254,700 to 283,000.

Professor: $293,400-326,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Assistant Professor

Must be board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or be an eligible candidate. Selected candidate must hold a Colorado medical license or be eligible for licensure in Colorado.

3 years minimum of Clinical Experience

Associate Professor

Must be board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or be an eligible candidate. Selected candidate must hold a Colorado medical license or be eligible for licensure in Colorado.

5 years minimum of Clinical Experience

Professor

Must be board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or be an eligible candidate. Selected candidate must hold a Colorado medical license or be eligible for licensure in Colorado.

7 years minimum of Clinical Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Operational, management and strategic experience is preferred
