Description:

The Department of Economics at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2022 (with the possibility of renewal up to three years).  A Visiting Assistant Professor will teach three undergraduate courses per semester at the undergraduate level.  Candidates should have an advanced degree in economics and a record of excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching skills, especially in applied microeconomics analysis related to labor, urban, and public economics.  Preference will also be given to applicants with research interests in areas where the Department has existing strengths: development, inequality, and poverty; the economics of education; health and labor economics; and public economics.  All applications must be submitted through Interfolio at http://apply.interfolio.com/101781.  Required materials include a letter of interest, which addresses past teaching experience, as well as a curriculum vita, and three reference letters.  The review of applications will begin March 25, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled. 


Qualifications:
