Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.Master's degree in Communication or a closely allied field (English-medium) plus 2 years teaching experience (English-medium).Independent teaching experience required.To be paid via CU Denver payroll, you must have a social security number and a U.S. bank account for direct deposit. Preferred Qualifications:The Department strongly prefers candidates with a PhD in communication (or a closely allied discipline). However, candidates who are ABD with significant progress on the dissertation will also receive preferential consideration. Additional preferred qualities include a demonstrated history of superior teaching, a health communication research agenda, and the potential for leadership in departmental, campus, disciplinary, and/or community service. Our key preferred qualification is for the candidate to demonstrate a deep and genuine interest in international education and intercultural communication.
