Regular,  Full-time, Market Range - 04 - Hourly rate - $16.00/hour plus benefits

The Service Tech role exists to support the servicing department by performing a range of Skill Level I service functions which includes but is not limited to servicing prescribed by OEM preventative maintenance schedules and replacement of fair wear and tear components.  This role will work closely with Senior Technicians with the goal of learning and mastering all phases of vehicle repair and maintenance, consisting of Skill Level I/II repairs.  This position is for first shift M-F, and will report to the Shop Supervisor.

Job Functions:

    Ensuring proper inspection and repair of all vehicles assigned to the University of Tennessee in accordance with OEM specifications.Complete various routine preventative maintenance tasks on vehicles including:Oil changesTire changes/rotationsBrake pad and rotor replacementsVarious minor repairsEnsuring proper vehicle documentation is included in vehiclesReporting any vehicle damage or servicing issues noticed while cleaning the vehiclesManual hand washing and vacuuming of vehicles Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
 



Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

 High school degree or equivalent

Valid Tennessee driver’s license

 Preferred Qualifications:

 Vocational training and/or 1-2 years’ work experience
