Position Summary

The duties of this position are a combination of clinical activities (including on-call duties) that will account for roughly 60% of the successful candidate's time. This position will have a significant commitment to pre-clinical teaching with a role as a Learning Society Fellow in the College of Human Medicine. This Learning Society Fellow role will consist of 27.5% of their time. The remaining hours will be spent researching topics of interest; teaching at any level of medical education (pre-clerkship, clerkship, and residency) and participating in curriculum development; serving on Department, College, or University committees; and any special assignments given by the Chair. This position is open to the Assistant Professor and Associate Professor ranks (commensurate with experience).

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD or DO and should be Board-certified, or eligible for Board certification, in Pediatrics. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for license as physicians in the State of Michigan, and must be eligible for privileges at our partner facilities.
