Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) 3WC – Medical Specialties Clinics has an outstanding opportunity for a 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift, Registered Nurse (RN2) position.

The 3WC – Medical Specialties Clinic consists of Dermatology, Rheumatology, Occupational Medicine, Memory and Brain Wellness, Senior Care (geriatrics primary care), and Falls Prevention Clinics. The multi-disciplinary team treats a wide variety of conditions, serving a medically complex patient population that is representative of Harborview’s mission population.

Common duties include in-person and phone triage, performing thorough symptom assessment, evaluating level of acuity, developing clinical interventions and plans of care, and care management. Problems addressed during nurse visits include blood pressure management, edema management, foley management, wound care, IV starts, assisting with dermatology procedures and medication administration.

SCHEDULE:
100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift

LOCATION:
Harborview Medical Center Main Campus, 3 West Clinics (3WC)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years RN experience

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Acute care/med surg experience; working knowledge of EPIC; IV and phlebotomy skills

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
WA State RN License required by start date
