We seek an engineering technician to join an auditory research lab led by Dr. Karolina Charaziak (https://sites.usc.edu/charaziaklab/) at the Keck School of Medicine, USC.

The primary job duties include equipment set up and maintenance, active participation in design of instrumentation optimal for audio and electrical tests, and data collection. In our lab we perform various tests of hearing function in animal models using acoustical, electrical, and optical methods.


Candidates must have either engineering degree or equivalent experience in the field. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with audio/electrophysiological recordings as well as signal processing. Experience with programming in MATLAB or Python is preferred, but not required..
