Qualified candidates will be responsible for performing low and high risk perinatal Obstetric (OB) ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols. Should have special interest and expertise in prenatal diagnosis and OB ultrasound with the ability to recognize normal and pathological conditions and apply additional modalities as indicated (i.e. Doppler, 3D/4D).

The candidates should obtain relevant history via EMR, image according to protocol, review cases with the care team, and generate preliminary reports. Familiarity in recognizing and troubleshooting various imaging IT issues is required. The candidates may perform other duties, as assigned.

Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired as a Sr. Ultrasound Tech or a Principal Ultrasound Tech.

  • Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography; CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in OB/GYN.

  • Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) Certification.

  • BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

  • Recent experience in a similar role and setting.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

  • RDMS or RDCS in Fetal Echocardiography (FE)

  • Inpatient OB experience

  • Two to three (2 - 3) years OB ultrasound experience.

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
