The Department of Biological Sciences offers bachelor degrees in Biology, Biotechnology, Forensic Science, and Secondary Biology Education with approximately 400 majors and a Master of Science in Biology program.
The Department of Biological and Forensic Sciences invites applicants for a tenure track position as an Assistant/Associate Professor/ of Biology effective Fall 2022. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in Biology. The applicant must have experience teaching undergraduate courses including Biotechnology. The position involves time commitment to teaching, research and university service.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements::
The Department of Biological and Forensic Sciences at Fayetteville State University (FSU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Biology position starting fall 2022. A PhD degree and training or experience in Biology is required. Experience teaching Biology courses at an undergraduate/graduate university and/or community college will be a plus. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in Biology, advise/mentor students, serve in department, college, university committees, and assist in building and maintaining professional relationships with local, regional, and national laboratories. In addition, the candidate is expected to establish an active, externally funded research program in the involving undergraduate students. The STEM departments core facilities have a range of equipment including SEM, UV- Vis, an electron microprobe, NMR, FTIR, etc. We offer bachelor’s degrees in biology, Forensic Science, and a minor in Biotechnology with ~ 400 majors. The position will be open until filled.
Applicants must have a doctorate in Biology and a record of excellence in teaching, research, and service commensurate with the rank of a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor. Open Until Filled::
