Job Summary:

Position reports to the Associate Dean of Clinical Services and ultimately to the Dean. The faculty member will primarily participate in providing high quality clinical services and clinical instruction in the Pet Health Center on the Pomona campus. The faculty member may occasional be required to perform similar duties at other clinical sites operated by the college including the VACS vehicles and the Upland Surgery Rotation. Other similar duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

- Knowledge of and experience with small animal veterinary clinical medicine and surgery

- Experience with student training and supervision
- Ability to orally communicate with others, both in person and by telephone. Ability to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff, students and outside contacts.
- Knowledge of educational needs for contemporary veterinary practice.

Required Qualifications:

- DVM degree and license to practice in California.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
