Adjunct Instructor for Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Maintenance Program
Type of Position:Faculty
Responsibilities:Participate as member of teaching team in preparation and presentation of learning experience with department curriculum. Evaluate student performance in relation to course objectives. Participate in student advising/counseling activities. Provide unit objectives and requirements at beginning of course. Provide information regarding attendance/tardy procedures. Maintain hours that will allow for conferences with students.
Maintain accurate class records of student grades and attendance. Prepare and present instruction in a manner that is clear and organized. Provide an environment conducive to learning. Establish and maintain a positive professional relationship with colleagues, students, and the community.
Pursue opportunities for professional development and service. Keep informed of new technology and approaches to learning.
Other similar duties as assigned.
Associate degree in related field with 3years work experience is required.
Basic computer skills are required.
This position is security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215.
