UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a part time (90% FTE, 36 hours per week), night shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. We are a 36-bed general medical unit with a full cardiac telemetry and rehabilitation program. Our unit is close knit and fast paced, and we are proud to offer a breadth of development and training opportunities for our staff, including stroke training and advanced EKG training. Our unit cares for a variety of patients, including patients transferring from our ICU and Emergency Department and patients transferring from our Cardiac Unit. This is a great opportunity to build a strong general medical foundation on a team that values camaraderie, professionalism, and cooperation. We are currently accepting experienced RNs and RNs who are new to telemetry to join our floor.
SCHEDULE
The Registered Nurse will work 12 hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively on medical team of board-certified physicians, intensivists, and cardiac care professionals. You will restore the patients’ health by following evidence-based nursing practices and managing complex health issues. The Registered Nurse will identify care needs, monitor and administer medications, and provide personalized, quality telemetry with compassion, dignity and respect.
