Description:
Tulane University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery is currently seeking candidates for a Breast Surgery clinical faculty position.
Responsibilities will include participation in the academic missions of the Tulane Department of Surgery. In addition to clinical duties, it is incumbent to have a strong interest and active participation in the education of residents and medical students.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates should have satisfactorily completed a training program in general surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and be board certified, or eligible if recently trained, and eligible for licensure in Louisiana, with the training to qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level. Fellowship training is required in an accredited fellowship program or a minimum of 15 years in practice.
