Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include assisting students through the admission and enrollment process, coordinating academic support, using technology to monitor program and performance progress as appropriate, referring students to appropriate support services, reviewing and accepting documents, receiving and addressing early alert notifications, providing registration assistance and organizational information to students. These duties are conducted in one-on-one, group, or virtual sessions. The Navigator will be assigned a caseload of students and work independently with limited supervision.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience in student services programs. Preferred candidates will also have experience with First-Year experience, familiarity with Ellucian software, student admission and registration, and advising in a higher education setting. Candidates must practice excellent customer service, be highly professional, and possess strong communication and computer skills. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is critical.
