MGH Institute of Health Professions is seeking applications and nominations for Program Director of our highly ranked Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program. This position offers unparalleled opportunities for collaboration among our occupational therapy students, faculty, and interprofessional colleagues in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, the School of Nursing, the School of Healthcare Leadership, and the Mass General Brigham system (the largest health care provider in New England). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Promoting the mission, vision, and core values of MGH Institute of Health Professions.
  • Implementing Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles in all aspects of the program.
  • Collaborating with colleagues at the Institute to develop or enhance interprofessional curricular activities.
  • Mentoring faculty. 
  • Facilitating a collegial and supportive departmental culture.
  • Overseeing development, implementation, and evaluation of the entry-level curriculum.
  • Building and retaining partnerships with community stakeholders.
  • Teaching, student advising, and mentorship. 
  • Conducting scholarly activities.
  • Providing service to the department, Institute, community, and profession.


Qualifications
Qualifications: 

  • An earned doctorate in OT or related field (PP-OTD, PhD, or EdD).
  • Eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Knowledge of ACOTE accreditation.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in clinical / professional practice.
  • A minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in a full-time academic appointment.
  • Experience with curriculum outcomes assessment and program evaluation.
  • Demonstrated record of scholarship and service to the profession.
