Job Details
The Department of English at the University of Vermont (UVM) invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time lecturer position with a specialization in nonfiction prose writing to teach creative writing and composition courses at the introductory and intermediate levels.
The position is for Academic Year 2022-23 and may be renewed based on performance. The teaching load is four courses per semester. Instruction will be conducted in-person unless circumstances call for hybrid or remote modalities.
Applicants should hold an MFA and/or PhD in Creative Writing or Rhetoric/Writing Studies; have a record of literary nonfiction publications in journals and magazines and/or a book; and have at least two-years of undergraduate teaching experience.
