Job Description:

The OPS Receptionist position works with the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities in the Department of Psychiatry to support secretarial, administrative needs for the Center’s clients.

Secretarial Duties: Greets potential clients of the Center, answer phones, schedules appointments for the Center staff, attends staff meetings, responds to electronic mail posted to the Center’s general address, summarizes and distributes minutes of local and state-wide Center meetings.

Administrative Duties: Completes initial intake interview and submits for processing, completes phone intake evaluations for processing, assist the Administrative Support Assistant II maintain database for Center’s resources library, provides administrative support for the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities section for the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, responsible for assisting the Director in multiple administrative arenas that are required for a non-residential regional resource center.

Spanish Translator Specialist-Responsible for Spanish translation for the Center of Autism and Related Diseases Clients, accompanying the Center’s staff on home visits that require translations for the client, providing translation services for documents and materials related to the services for the Center for Autism and Related Diseases.

Advertised Salary:

$15.00 -$17.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual ability to translate services for Spanish speaking clients.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience with person with disabilities, professional literature and collection of data.
