The primary functions of this position are….Responsible for supervising the safety of patrons in the Natatorium.

Position requires working mornings, evenings and occasional weekends. Recognize and respond to unsafe situations in and around the swimming pool. Respond effectively to emergency situations. Enforces rules and regulations of the college to provide for the safe and efficient operation of theNatatorium.

At least 18 years of age or high school diploma or equivalent.
Current Certification in Lifeguard Training, Adult CPR, AED, and Standard First Aid.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stoop, stand, walk kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms.The employee must frequently lift and move from 10-50 pounds. The special requirements related to this job are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
