Salary Information:

Starting salary: $57,444 (work experience and meeting the desired qualifications listed may be considered in setting a salary above the minimum)

Job Summary:

Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Essential Functions:

Establish and effectively manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables and project teams – both in-house and outsourced; identify and resolve issues and conflicts; acquire and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed; and analyze completed projects for improvement. Create project budget and track variances. Oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.Effectively communicate project expectations to project managers, owners, sponsors, team members, contractors/consultants and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion externally and within DMACC.Direct and develop best practices, techniques and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone/deliverable tracking and communication.Communicate and train project management standards and techniques to the appropriate staff.Setup, administer and maintain project management software of choice.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree.
Two years of experience in project management.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical material in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and operational planning and budgeting.
Demonstrated ability to function autonomously with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, complaints and problems and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of current software applications.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and interpret construction and technology blueprints.
Professional Project Manager certification.
