Manager of Client ServicesInformation Technology Services

The Manager of Client Services is the central coordinating point for all Information Technology Services (ITS). Stationed at the help desk or Technology Service Center (TSC), this role will span across all of ITS to ensure high quality services for all faculty, staff, and students. This position reports directly to the CIO and serves on the ITS Executive Leadership Team. This a full time, benefits eligible, on-campus position.

Responsibilities:

    Provide management and leadership at the IT Support Center; recruit and train student workers and part time workers at the ITS; oversee the management of IT support ticketing system; manage the flow and assignment of tickets; develop and maintain reports and metrics for IT services.Architect, develop and maintain a system of IT communications for the University community; write and disseminate all IT communications; develop and maintain an IT knowledge base, Service Catalog and FAQs for the campus; develop and disseminate an IT Services newsletter; develop and maintain the ITS websiteCollaborate as a member of the IT Management team; represent IT at assigned meetings, task forces, and special project groups; management and oversight of th eIT desktop/workstation services segment of the department, including direct supervision; assist with development and upkeep of IT policiesHardware and software support for faculty and staff in all areas of campus; hardware preparation, data migration, software and printer configuration and installationVarious IT Projects; collaboration with Network/Server team to configure and employ print management on campus; collaboration with IT Services teams to configure and employ endpoint security software (Sophos) on campus

Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred; a combination of education, experience and licensure may substitute. Preference for ITIL4 or PMP certification.Minimum of three years’ related experienceSome evening and weekend hours may be required for special eventsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
