Applications are being accepted for a full-time Marketing Web Content Specialist, Fond du Lac Campus. The Marketing Web Content Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, updating, and optimizing web content for morainepark.edu and other MPTC web properties. They will coordinate with a variety of MPTC stakeholders to create appropriate content for internal and external audiences. This position will also work with IT and guide web content publishers across MPTC to improve user experience across all web properties.

Beginning: Immediately
Responsibilities1. Work collaboratively with academic, student affairs and other units to generate engaging web content and to design captivating webpages for internal and external stakeholders.2. Enhance user experience through page layout and design improvements. 3. Apply SEO and web accessibility principles to new and existing pages. Identify opportunities for further improvements.4. Maintain web navigation and information hierarchy mapping as web changes occur.5. Create innovative landing pages and perform A/B tests for paid digital campaigns.6. Oversee and train web content publishers within the College. 7. Assist with other projects when colleagues require assistance. This may include, but is not be limited to, brainstorming ideas for paid digital campaigns, taking photos for social media and the website, and creating picture and video content for social media channels.8. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications1. Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.2. Minimum of 1-2 years of web related work experience. 3. Any combination of equivalent training and experience which provides desired knowledge, skills and abilities. 4. Strong copywriting/web content creation skills.5. Demonstrated WordPress skills.6. Demonstrated ability to alter web design/layout using HTML and CSS.7. Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web accessibility principles.8. Demonstrated project management skills: ability to work independently under pressure and exercise good judgment with minimum supervision.9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.10. Ability to think strategically and come up with creative solutions.Benefits Summary
