Normal Work Schedule: No weekends, nightshift, on call duties as assigned

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients. The RN reviews physicians' orders for accuracy and authorization prior to implementing them; prescribes and initiates nursing treatment through direct, assisted or delegation to other staff.

Required Minimum Qualifications: State of Alabama valid/current Registered Nurse License.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Final candidates who are not current Brewer-Porch Children's Center employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
