Job Summary:

The Department of Music at Jacksonville State University (JSU) invites applications for adjunct faculty positions. Our Department offers undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate programs of study in Music Education and General Music.

Experience teaching online and in traditional classroom courses is desired.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree appropriate for the discipline or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses. Terminal degree may be required for teaching graduate or doctoral courses. “Terminal degree” refers to the highest degree awarded in a discipline. The doctorate is the terminal degree for most disciplines represented at JSU.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Doctoral degree in appropriate discipline

    Academically Jax State offers bachelor's, master's, post-baccalaureate, doctoral and advanced certificate programs.
