Job Summary:

The Coordinator of Dual Enrollment Admissions & Recruitment is responsible for managing a comprehensive and collaborative recruitment and communication plans to enroll qualified high school students to participate in the Dual Enrollment program. This position educates high school students, parents of high school students, school counselors, and administrators about the benefits of dual enrollment. This position oversees the Dual Enrollment Counselor who travels to high schools to recruit students and help them through the enrollment process.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages the recruitment of dual enrollment students through efforts including marketing campaigns, communication plans, information sessions, college fairs and on campus events, and faculty/counselor/parent/student relationships.
  • Coordinates the Dual Enrollment Counselor's recruitment territory and duties and communicates any new University procedures affecting Dual Enrollment.
  • Responsible for recruiting new schools/school systems/teachers/students for participation in the Dual Enrollment program.
  • Supports high school counselors associated with dual enrollment through workshops and annual meetings.
  • Manages dual enrollment scholarship applications and administration.
  • Collaborates with Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts to ensure seamless delivery of dual enrollment services to participants.
  • Involved in planning and identifying Dual Enrollment courses.
  • Collaborates with the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness to analyze data associated with the Dual Enrollment program.
  • Serves as a resource to students, families, faculty and staff regarding Dual Enrollment Program.
  • Serves as the Liaison between the University and local boards of education.
  • Collaborates with administrators, faculty, staff, student assistants, and students in promoting the student academic and personal success within a learning centered environment.
  • Involved in coordinating the class schedules and meeting spaces with the Division for Academic Affairs.
  • Develops communication aimed at high school students, parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
  • Travels on behalf of the university to recruit students.
  • Assist in the planning of on-campus and off-campus recruitment events for dual enrollment students.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in academic admissions or recruitment, resident life, student counseling or academic advisement at high school or college level
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in higher education
