Description
Assist with payroll for areas of responsibility. Ensures timely completion of timesheets, winter break forms, or any other HR related paperwork. Assists management with drafting and submitting reprimands and termination letters. 

 Supports management with clerical work, such as compiling materials for interviews, maintaining departmental records and files, answering telephones, taking messages, transferring calls and providing information to the public. Maintain inventory of office supplies and orders supplies for office and events. Ensures paperwork is delivered to central administration in a timely manner. Assist management with meal plan questions and changes. Process invoices and statements. 

 Maintains and ensures accuracy in calendars, to include group dining, events, and closures. Assists in the coordination and execution of events. Assist in arranging meetings and scheduling appointments. 

 Assists employees with any program needs, such as Onboarding, OneUSG, campus email, parking, or uniforms. Ensures employee administrative needs are met. Enrollment of staff for the Biometric Time Clocks. Coordinates with Staff, Panther Temps and Student Assistants on working events; such as, concessions for GSU games and special events. 

 Relieves staff for breaks. Operates POS system and ensures cleanliness of areas as needed. PCI Compliance training to include credit card inspection log. Ensure cash handling policy and procedures are followed. Assists in deposit reconciliation and cash handling. Manages change requests. 

 Excellent customer service. In addition to "other duties as assigned", this position may be required to be cross-trained for another position and/or responsibility in order to provide both back-up for a department as well as to supplement resources needed during certain times of the year. 



Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and two years of administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Light typing may be required for some positions.

The Georgia State Panthers are members of the Colonial Athletic Association and compete in 16 NCAA Division I intercollegiate men’s and women’s sports, including basketball, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, track and volleyball. The university announced in April 2008 that is will begin Division I-AA football in 2010.

The university’s innovative Touch the Earth program brings outdoor recreation ranging from backpacking, rock climbing, sailing, kayaking, rafting and water-skiing to out-of-state snow-skiing and snorkeling trips. And WRAS, Georgia State’s popular 100,000-watt radio voice, is the most powerful student-run radio station in the United States.
